Two halves, and the first one needs nobody else
Most parking apps only work once enough people are using them. Half of Udal is useful from your very first park.
Finding your car again
- Udal detects the park by itself and drops a marker — no check-in.
- Add a photo of the spot and a line of text: “level 3, blue zone, near lift B”. Both stay on your phone.
- Walking back, a compass points at the car and counts down the metres. It works with no signal at all.
- Set a reminder before the meter runs out, and see how long your usual next trip takes.
Passing your space on
- Do nothing at all: as Udal becomes confident you are walking back, it offers the space for you.
- Or say so yourself, and choose how long you can wait.
- A driver nearby gets the space — you both see each other arrive, and can message.
- Ratings belong to the handover, not the person, so they can only come from a real one.

What makes it different

It points at the car and counts down the distance. Underground car parks, foreign cities, no reception — it still points.
The photo stays on your phone
The picture and note you take of a spot never reach us. We could not look at them if we wanted to.
A reminder before the meter
Set it when you park. Udal also learns how long you usually stay in a place and suggests it.
No money changes hands
You cannot buy a space here, and nobody can charge you for one. Udal is a way for two drivers to communicate.
